BYD DM-i WEEK SUPER DEAL: SEAL 5 & SEALION 5 DM-i Test Drives at BYD NOVA

BYD NOVA hosted BYD DM-i WEEK SUPER DEAL from 18–20 September 2026 at all 4 BYD NOVA showrooms: Salaya, Korat, Phetchaburi and Pranburi. Customers were invited to explore and test drive the BYD SEAL 5 DM-i and BYD SEALION 5 DM-i plug-in hybrids, with special offers available only during the three-day event.

Throughout all three days, every showroom was buzzing, with customers dropping by to see the cars, ask about promotions and take test drives all day long. Alongside the DM-i models, customers could also test drive every BYD EV model.

What is the difference between the BYD SEAL 5 DM-i and SEALION 5 DM-i?

Both models use the same DM-i plug-in hybrid technology. The main difference is the body style and how you plan to use the car.

BYD SEAL 5 DM-i – A plug-in hybrid sedan with a smooth ride and excellent fuel economy, ideal for city driving and long trips.

BYD SEALION 5 DM-i – A plug-in hybrid SUV with a spacious cabin and higher ground clearance, great for families and anyone who needs more space.

What is DM-i and why is it so efficient?

DM-i is BYD's plug-in hybrid technology, where the electric motor is the main source of drive and the engine mainly generates electricity. This gives you the smooth feel of an electric car without range anxiety: refuel when you travel far, and charge when you want maximum savings.
