Blade Battery is BYD's proprietary lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, with cells shaped like a blade to increase energy density. It's known for exceptional safety — passing the nail penetration test without smoke or fire — high heat tolerance, and supports over 5,000 charge cycles.

Maximum range (NEDC): BYD Dolphin (410–490 km), BYD ATTO 3 (410–480 km), BYD SEAL (510–650 km), BYD SEALION 7 (542–567 km), and BYD M6 (420–530 km). Real-world range is typically about 80–85% of this, depending on driving behavior.

Blade Battery lasts an average of 8–10+ years (over 5,000 charge cycles). BYD backs it with an 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty — if capacity degrades beyond the standard threshold within that period, it's eligible for a free replacement under warranty.

If the battery reaches 0%, charge it as soon as possible. Leaving it uncharged for more than 7 days can push the battery cells into deep discharge, causing permanent damage and potentially voiding the warranty.

Charging with a Home Charger (AC 7 kW) from 15% to 100% takes about 7–10 hours — ideal for overnight charging. A Home Charger with standard installation is normally included free with the purchase of a vehicle.

DC fast charging from 30% to 80% takes only about 25–45 minutes, depending on the charger's maximum output and the DC charging spec of the specific BYD model (SEAL and SEALION 7 support up to 150 kW).

The Rêver Automotive app lets you find charging stations, reserve a slot, and pay instantly. It also works with partner networks nationwide, including PEA VOLTA, EleXA, EA Anywhere, PTT EV Station PluZ, and AlterV.

V2L converts energy from the battery into 220V AC output, up to 2,200–3,300 watts, via a VTOL adapter cable — powering external appliances. It's ideal for camping, picnics, or as emergency backup power.

BYD's battery pack and electric drive system are rated IP67/IP68 for water and dust resistance, allowing safe low-speed driving through standing water up to 30–40 cm deep (about half-wheel height). Prolonged parking in standing water is not recommended.

Scheduled service checks are recommended every 1 year or 20,000 km, covering the brake system, coolant, cabin air filter, and software updates. Average cost per visit is only 1,000–2,000 THB (labor/parts within schedule are free under REVER Care).

First-year Class 1 insurance is usually included in the purchase benefits. From the second year, premiums run about 20,000–35,000 THB/year depending on the model, covering the vehicle, accidents, and the high-voltage battery pack proportionally.

Yes — it supports Apple CarPlay (wireless/wired) and Android Auto, along with Thai voice commands ("Hi BYD"), and the infotainment and control unit can be conveniently updated over-the-air (OTA).

BYD Roadside Assistance is available 24 hours a day via the call center at 02-045-8888, offering emergency towing to the nearest charging station or service center, basic repairs, and technician coordination.

Super DM-i is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system combining a petrol engine with an electric motor. It can drive on electric power alone for 60–110 km, and combined with fuel, can travel over 1,200 km total on a full charge and tank.

Plugging accessories into the USB / 12V outlets or inserting a microSD card into the factory dashcam is fine. However, modifying, splicing, or tapping into the vehicle's main wiring will immediately void the warranty for the affected electrical system.
